Welcome to the web site for Mile High Hope. 

Mile High Hope is a tax-exempt 501(c)3 charitable organization. Our focus is to help youth in foster care through educational scholarships and community involvement. We provide GED, trade, vocational, and college scholarships to Denver metro area foster youth.

Our primary community fundraiser is the annual  the annual Hope Through Art Silent Auction.  Other funding comes from generous donors such as you!

2010 ~ We’re Changing Things Up A Bit!

We are changing our focus a bit for Mile High Hope this year.  2009 was a tough year for most, including non-profits.  Our organization took a sabbatical of sorts, but are getting going again in 2010!  While we are still committed to providing scholarships for former youth in foster care, we have found a fantastic opportunity to help foster youth through our “Art Nights”.  The youth seem to not only enjoy doing the artwork, their self-confidence and self-worth seem to go up each time they see the amazing ability they have to express their feelings.  To learn more about helping out either through donating you time, talents, or money, please see our “To Donate” page.

We also took a break from our fundraiser last year as we knew people all over were struggling with finances.  We are going to do our best to pull together another fantastic (and maybe even better!) art auction this fall.  Please check our website often for the latest updates.
